A plastics company with a database requirement
Polybrook are a small Indonesian company, importing plastics for packaging to the UK. All their stock control and orders was being done with difficulty on excel spreadsheets.
They needed a simple database system that would hold their product data, warehouse stock and shipping container data. They would also need the ability to create orders and update prices.
A complete content management system
We created a complete user system, container / warehouse stock control, item catalogue and pricing details. All the administration required - edits, deletes and new items - had to be written from scratch.
After that came the challenge of designing a simple user interface that was clear to read and easy to navigate.
Display and Ease of Use
Quick access links to individual containers - small text, but high contrast for ease of reading large amounts of info. Quick edit functions and easy navigation made this a simple, but powerful database web-app.
Bulk pricing updates and housekeeping functions keep the data manageable.
